Who Is “A” ???

Bear with me it’s going to be long :) So as the rumor said we ran into -A already in the pilot, For fun I’m going to list all the participants in the pilot & episode 2x13 and discuss why they can be -A, and why they are not -A.

List of suspects:

Noel Kahn

Why he might be “A”: He always in the background (Hannah’s accident 1x10, the bell tower 1x22 ). In episode 2x13, we learn that there is a connection between Noel & Allison - and in Allison flashbacks we learn about his hatred for her. We know that Noel’s brother (Eric) was Ian friend this also implies that he knew about (or was possibly even involved in) the N.A.T. club, despite being younger than the club’s main members. Maybe this is why Garrett left Noel alone despite his growing relationship with Jenna (Garrett go psycho-killer when Caleb merely rang Jenna’s doorbell).”Pretty eyes” reference -was sayd about him by Mona - we all know -A has pretty eyes. Noel is clearly partners with Jenna, whether the relationship is romantic, sexual, or just one of shared interests, we don’t know yet … if Noel is determined to hurt Caleb (2x19) on behalf of Jenna, and we know that “A” steals Caleb’s computer for the purpose of hurting him, does that mean that Noel is part of an “A” group that includes Jenna?

Lucas Gottesman

Why he might be “A”: sometimes we see glimpses of his dark side, whether he’s destroying Ali’s memorial, getting drunk at Hanna’s welcome-home party (1x12), or calling Ali a bitch in his baby mask (2x13). It seems that he has a grudge against Allison … And he said to Mona “one day she’ll gets what coming to her”. We know “A” is a skilled photographer who uses photos for blackmail…. Lucas known for his camera skills & he is a pro with computers!

Ezra Fitz

Why he might be “A”: Give me a reason why he was present at Alison funeral And On the Homecoming ep, Spencer talks to the tarot lady. She reads a creepy tarot card, which says “Something wrong with this couple, they are a bad match…. there is darkness in him, maybe even violence and vengeance”. During this scene, the camera shows both Emily and Toby, and Aria and Ezra. We thought that the tarot lady was talking about Toby and that EMily was in danger with him, but now we know Toby is innocent, so which guy’s left…? Ezra.there r so many reason uot there so this is my last reason for Ezra :) Ezra’s poem said “And in a moment, her life was undone. Everything she knew disappeared, drifting into the summer sky”. Her = Ali. Undone life = death. Also, Ali died in the summer.

Alison DiLaurentis/twin sister

Why she might be “A”: Ali has a twin named Courtney DiLaurentis in the book series. in episode 2x13 we see a framed photo of Jason on her wall…with a pic of Ali and her twin on either side of him! This seems to be the biggest clue regarding the twin. Of course lets not ignore the fact that in the pilot Spencer saw identical figure to Alison. And the question becomes how many painkillers Hannah took in 1x11 & how many muffler fumes Emily inhaled 2x12, because both saw Allison … Is it all a dream?

Jason DiLaurentis

Why he might be “A”: There was no love lost between Jason and Alison, the siblings were constantly bickering and were even at odds about who would receive their grandmother’s inheritance, with Jason getting cut out of the will just a week before Ali disappeared. Jason was the person who handed that package to Ali (and later Aria) — containing a voodoo doll and the note about torturing her — makes me wonder if maybe the package was from him and not something he found at the doorstep, as he claimed.

Jenna Marshall

Why she might be “A”: REVENGE! Her interest in Toby, the intense hatred that she have for Allison and her gang - because of them she went blind!

why she wouldn’t be “A”: Allison received the first message in 28/10/2008 that said “It’s my turn to torture you,” which means that -A has already been tortured by Ali, and Jenna just arrived to Rosewood. Alison killer and -A are not the same person and we know that Jenna murdered Allison! And besides she is blind and I’ll be very disappointed if she is -A.

Maya St. Germain

Why she might be “A”: The new girl that lived in Allison’s house, she got her hands on some of Ali’s things, and she also admits that she has trouble fitting in… Sounds like -A.

why she wouldn’t be “A”: Well Alison was -A first target and got the first SMS in 28.10.2008 Maya as far as we know didn’t live in Rosewood and don’t have a motive to harm Alison cause she didn’t know her.

Officer Darren Wilden

Why he might be “A”: One of the OMG moments in 2x13 was the scene where he and Jenna were talking. He’s certainly spent an awful lot of time with Garrett (ep 2x12 & 2x20), so it’s possible that these two are somehow in cahoots. Wilden somehow has a hidden agenda, considering that this show already has crooked cops and a thing for younger girls I put him on the list!

why he wouldn’t be “A”: It’s hard to believe that he could really be “A,” considering that he’s been M.I.A. for lots of episodes. And in episode 2x21 he seems to be in shock when Ashley showed him the police report.

Wren Kim

Why he might be “A”: -A Favorite trick played on the girls was Emily’s massage (we know how good Wren with his hands from the pilot). -A is a familiar face in Rosewood -Wren is a doctor. seeing as how he got to put the moves on a newly available Spencer. Makes me sorta wonder if he was involved in forcing Spencer and Toby’s breakup (2x12).

why he wouldn’t be “A”: I think it’s safe to say that Wren didn’t go to Rosewood high.And it looks like -A have drunk Wren & Spencer on camera in episode 1x04, and as far as we know Wren didn’t know Alison.

Melissa Hastings

why she wouldn’t be “A”: Although series writers throw her now into the plot, Melissa might be involved in Allison murder but she certainly is not A! Melissa was in the hospital as A pushed Ian from the Bell Tower, and she looked really upset when Ian’s body was discovered.

Mona Vanderwall

why she wouldn’t be “A”: Despite being -A in the book creators said over and over that she wouldn’t be in the series and even added her to the victims / target list of -A … so unless they are screwing with as, it’s safe to say that Mona is not -A !

Mike Montgomery

why he wouldn’t be “A”: While -A kidnapped Dr. Sullivan, Mike was at home and dealt with his own problems.

Toby Cavanaugh

why he wouldn’t be “A”: A framed Toby and was glad to be rid of him (1x07). A seem to break up all the couples but s/he really has it for Spoby! And of course during the dance (1x14) while Ella brought the gloves and jacket to -A Toby was under house arrest.

Ian Thomas

why he wouldn’t be “A”: Well he’s dead! :)

All roads lead to Noel & Lucas - so it is expected! and it seems like -A is a girl due to an Interview conducted with -A Which implies her interest in Toby ;) http://abcfamily.go.com/shows/pretty-little-liars/blogs-details/pretty-little-liars-q/908296# as for Jason & Ezra i don’t believe that the writers will make them A cause they can develop their storyline to next season. But it would be very unexpected and very interesting to watch!
